Lagos helicopter crash: Two people rescued

The National Emergency Management Agency NEMA said two persons inside the helicopter which crashed on Oba Akran Road, Ikeja, Lagos on Tuesday afternoon have been rescued.
Mr Ibrahim Farinloye, Territorial Coordinator, NEMA confirmed the incident to newsmen in Lagos.
According to him, the occupants of the helicopter were two crew members.
He, however promised that responders said they would provide further information on the incident.
The Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB), has earlier confirmed the crash of the helicopter crashed into a building.
Mr Tunji Oketumbi, Public Affairs, General Manager, NSIB confirmed the accident in a telephone interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Lagos
According to an eyewitness, the incident happened at about 3.30pm.
